Enjoy your summer

The school year 2009-2010 is coming to an end.  You have a long summer ahead and it would be great if you could find a few minutes to "do with English".
Here you will find a list of websites with vocabulary and grammar activities and where you will also be able to practise your listening and speaking abilities.
I hope you like them and please don't forget to ENJOY YOURSELF and HAVE FUN.

http://www.agendaweb.org/
This is a very good webpage where you can practise grammar and vocabulary.  But there are also other more enjoyable activities such as listening activities and songs for everybody.
You can also find videos of your favourite songs with lyrics.  The exercises are new everyday because they change the gaps that you are asked to fill in.

English news with subtitles

Here you can watch videos where the speaker gives current news.  He speaks one-third slower than real English, which makes the reports easier to understand.  Moreover, all of them are subtitled.  Challenge yourself and try to understand what the reader is saying without looking at the subtitles.  Later, listen and read at the same time to check what you have understood and to learn new vocabulary. Click here to have a go at it.
